Vash: The Possessed Review: A clichéd horror movie with a predictable plot

Vash Movie Rating: 4/10 ⭐

Vash: The Possessed Story: Newlyweds Rakshit and Aanchal witness a demonic presence that tortures Aanchal. Is she hallucinating, or is she expecting a big surprise just around the corner?  Vash: Possessed Possessed

Review: To make a good horror film, creators should strive to avoid clichés and come up with fresh concepts that  effectively captivate and frighten the audience. Vash: The Possessor fails to deliver true horror, and its predictable plot and horror clichés don't stand out. The setting of people encountering supernatural events in  remote areas and connecting with their own pasts is a common theme in horror movies, and this movie brought nothing new. The story revolves around a newlywed couple, Rakshit (Vivek Jaitley) and Aanchal (Ganga Mamghai), who have peacefully settled  in a village in Paragpur, Himachal Pradesh. Shortly after her marriage, Aanchal becomes aware of the presence of  malevolent spirits. But is it just her frightening dreams, her hallucinations, or is there something else that scares her? As these disturbing events ravage Aanchal and her home, sinister events unfold, forcing her and Rakshit to confront a terrifying truth lurking beneath the surface.  While lead Vivek Jaitley and debutant Ganga Mamgay (who also produced the film) have decent performances, the film has yet to reach extraordinary heights in  storytelling and directing. Unfortunately, the climactic scene that was supposed to be the film's turning point  ended up causing laughter instead of horror, largely due to a terrifying gust of wind that blew people  away. Among other things, Havan's performance was overwhelmingly poorly portrayed. Himachal's scenic locations and dense forests may have been visually stunning, but they're still a missed opportunity because they don't add to the overall impact of the drama or  the eerie atmosphere of the film. Plus, the lackluster music and subpar his VFX effects make it even less likely to create a truly creepy experience. In conclusion, Vash: The Possessed  falls short of its original goal of delivering genuine horror, and its lack of originality and poor direction make it stand out from other films in the genre. I can say that it has not been done. Therefore, please check at your own risk.
